Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 16 July 2026
This Refund Policy applies to subscriptions and other purchases made on MedTUS (medtus.net / app.medtus.net). Card payments are handled by our Merchant of Record, Paddle, which processes refunds on our behalf according to this policy.
0. Purchases made inside the Google Play or App Store app
If you subscribed inside the MedTUS app from Google Play or the App Store, the purchase, renewal and any refund are handled by that store under its own rules — request a refund from Google Play or Apple directly (Play: Order history; Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com). We cannot refund a store purchase ourselves. Cancelling a store subscription is done in the store's subscription settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
1. 14-day refund
You may request a full refund within 14 days of a purchase, provided you have not substantially used the paid content in that period (for example, only a small portion of premium lessons, question banks, or AI credits has been consumed). We may decline a refund where usage indicates the subscription was effectively used, or where there is evidence of abuse (such as repeated buy-then-refund behaviour).
2. Free trial
Our free trial involves no payment, so no refund applies to it. If you do not wish to continue after the trial, simply do not purchase a subscription — you will not be charged.
3. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel:
- Your access continues until the end of the current paid period.
- The subscription will not auto-renew afterwards, so you are not charged again.
- Cancelling does not, by itself, trigger a refund of the current period — the 14-day rule above governs refunds.
4. Renewals
Automatic renewal charges are generally non-refundable once the new period has started, except where required by applicable consumer-protection law or where the renewal was clearly in error. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel before the renewal date.
5. Crypto-asset payments
Payments made with crypto-assets (MedCoin / USDT) are, by their nature, difficult to reverse and are generally non-refundable. Please choose crypto payment only if you are certain of your purchase.
6. How to request a refund
Email info@medtus.net with your account email and the order/receipt details, or use the buyer portal link on your Paddle receipt. We aim to respond within a few business days. Approved card refunds are issued by Paddle to your original payment method; the time to appear on your statement depends on your bank.
7. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory refund or withdrawal rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.
